We believe that the Apostolic message and salvation experience did not end at the close of the book of Acts, but that the promises given in Acts 2:38-39 continue on today!
We believe our loving God still does miracles and answers prayers, and many in our congregation have personally witnessed this beautiful reality. (James 5:14)
We believe that redemption is for everyone, everywhere, and it is our mission to share this transforming truth with all who will listen. (Matthew 28:19, Mark 16:15)
We believe that God is a Spirit (Genesis 1:2, John 4:24), that He robed Himself in flesh to give His life as a ransom for us (Isaiah 9:6, Matthew 1:21, 23, Matthew 20:28) to redeem us to Himself and to make a way for all people groups, regardless of cultural or ethnic background, to be saved. (Revelation 5:9, Acts 1:8, 1 Corinthians 6:11)
We believe that the Biblical method of salvation is still the only way to be saved (Ephesians 4:5-6). Specifically, we have found in scripture that repentance (Luke 13:3, Acts 3:19), the infilling of the Holy Spirit evidenced by speaking in tongues, (John 3:8, Acts 10:46-47, Acts 19:2-4, Romans 8:9,) and baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, (Matthew 28:18-19, Acts 2:38) are each essential elements to salvation.
